In the United States, John was, among other things, Executive Chef and then Food & Beverage Director for the Doubletree by Hilton hotel. He is a 9-time award-winning Executive Chef, former owner of the #1 ranked restaurant in Key West, Florida and he hosted his own TV cooking show in South Florida. John now lives near Birmingham with his wife and Co-owner, Lisa. They own Yum Yum Sushi Desserts and have patents in 27 countries.
